Miggy and Pete Wild have organised a members Photo Hunt on September 13th, 2026, taking in a varied range of events from Ancient History, to sports action. This year’s hunt is directed with instructions and a map but not questions as you go round. When you get to the chosen destinations there will be opportunities to take photographs. There will be places to eat and drink en route, however having a picnic would be fun too. Our final destination will allow us to get together for a picnic, drink and get-together. Sad news this morning, hearing that former member of the Society, Wendy Meagher, has passed away. We send our deepest sympathies and condolences to her family at a difficult time. Wendy was an enthusiastic member of the Society, and previously a committee member. She achieved her LRPS distinction in 2019. Wendy has 2 galleries on the website, her own choice of images and her LRPS panel.
The Society will be holding it’s AGM at our meeting on Wednesday 2nd April. This will be followed by our traditional ‘What Is It Quiz’ Details of the AGM and the quiz will be published in our monthly newsletter.
Our first exhibition of the year will be at the Deddington farmers market, on Saturday 22nd June, 2024 from 9-12.30. Come along and see our images. We can be found in the ‘Living Room’ inside the Church.
Several members of AD&D PS will be visiting nearby Camera Club “KCC Photo Group” in Kidlington on Monday 11th March, where they will share a selection of our images. It is hoped we can reciprocate in the near future.
Our third exhibtion of the year will be on Saturday 28th October, at the Deddington Farmers Market. As usual, we will be situated in the Living Room inside the Church. Free admission, open from 9.00 to 12.30
