Chris Day
It is with much sadness and shock that we pass onto you all the news that Chris Day passed away on the 3rd March, after a short battle with cancer.
Chris joined the society on 6th September 2006, just one month after it started, and after a break in his membership recently re-joined the society, becoming a regular and keen member.
A member of the committee has visited his wife to pass on our condolences and will be arranging a card and flowers.
Chris was also the first Chairman of the Deddington and District History Society. His energy and enthusiasm plus his numerous contacts meant that the Society quickly established a good membership which was the result of the quality of the speakers Chris attracted.
