Lockdown Challenges, 2020

In these troubled times of social Isolation, AD&D Photographic Society is doing what it can to keep its members taking pictures with regular challenges. Our AGM is usually followed by a selection of ‘What Is It’ images, where members take a candid or close up picture of an everyday object. A second pass would show the image in context. As all meetings are suspended due to the current lockdown during the Corona virus situation, images have been posted in our Lockdown 2020 Gallery today (1st April). October Topic – Shadows

Octobers monthly topic images – ‘Shadows’ – are now online in the Gallery. The usual sub-folders displaying members First choice and other (Rest) submitted images. These images were shown at our November club night.

October Website Updates

On 28th September 2019, the Society held it’s annual exhibition of members pictures at the Adderbury institute. Each member was invited to submit up to five images. This year we had a special display of images from our late Chairman, John Prentice, who died suddenly earlier in the month. The Gallery can be found from the “Galleries>Exhibition Images” menu. Also online are our September/October Topic images: “Strange Signs”. This had been a fun topic with many candid images submitted. Next month we are challenged with “Shadows”

Our Monthly Topic for June is ‘Reflections in Water’ Your images should be sent to Neil as usual, and these will be shown after the interval at our July Club Night.
