Exhibition 2020
AD&D PS held it’s annual exhibition on Wednesday18th November, somewhat later than usual, and in different circumstances. Like everywhere else, we have been subject to COVID restrictions, and so our annual exhibitions at Adderbury Institute and Deddington Farmers market, in September and October, respectively, weren’t possible. So, members submitted 3 favourite images, and these were presented at a Zoom event. Images are now online in our Galleries > Exhibition Images section of this website.
Virtual Exhibition
Notice to members. Sadly, due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, we will not be displaying printed images at the Adderbury Institute this year. Instead, we will be holding a Virtual Exhibition via Zoom on Wednesday 18th November at 7.30pm. You may submit three images from the last three years, that have not been seen in a previous exhibition. Look out for the usual email invitation. Images will then appear in our Exhibition Gallery on this website.
Workshop update.
Please note that all Workshops and indoor photoshoots are suspended until further notice due to the current COVID19 restrictions. Details of future indoor Workshops and Photoshops will appear on the website when they resume. Members should also look out for outdoor photoshoot opportunities in your email Inbox.
Monthly Topic – ICM
This months topic images “ICM” (Intentional Camera Movement) are now online in the Gallery > Lockdown 2020 section.
Roy Dickson
The committee were saddened to hear of the passing of former Society member Roy Dickson on 30th September 2020. We extend our condolences to his wife Janet and his family.
David Hunsley
The committee was shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden death of Society member David Hunsley on 29th July 2020. Condolences were extended to his wife Anne and their family.
Wildlife Garden/Urban Images
Following the Zoom slide show on 19th August, members First and second choice images for the topic ‘Wildlife – Garden/Urban’ are now online. Head over to the Lockdown 2020 Gallery to find them. This topic was based on our August Zoom presentation by the inspirational Robert Harvey, who’s talk was ‘Small is Beautiful’ and largely featured Macro photography.
