Our members photographic topic for June was 'Wild'

The challenge for May 2021 was to match an image to a poem

This months challenge was 'Black and White'. For our Zoom meeting, members were also asked to submit the colour version from which the image was converted. Both images are included in the 2 sub galleries for comparison. There was much debate on some as to whether we preferred the original, or conversion to Black and White

This topic usually follows our AGM in April's Society meeting. The idea is to take a close up or candid view of an object, which will then be revealed.

March's topic was 'Vintage'

This months Lockdown topic was 'Night-Time. Photo's taken at night or in low light, following on from Tony Worobiec's presentation earlier in the month.

Our usual topic for January is our favourite images of the year. As we have all been through a difficult time, this year our topic was 'The COVID year' The images selected represent thoughts and memories of trying times in 2020, and perhaps some hope for 2021

Our topic this month was to take pictures of Christmas lights and/or decorations

This month, members topic challenge was ICM - Intentional Camera Movement.

Our challenge for August was Landscape, inspired by Astrid McGechan's Zoom presentation

Following Robert Harvey's inspirational Zoom presentation 'Small is Beautiful', our topic for August was 'Wildlife - Garden/Urban'

This lockdown challenge was for Kitchen close-up images

Following on from Stewart Wall's presentation on Urban/Street Photography, our members topic was on the same theme, with the addition of 'Thoroughfare' to help fit in with COVID-19 guidlines

Following our Zoom presentation by Anne Sutcliffe, members were challenged to submit pictures with a WOW factor.

Our second Lockdown Challenge

This topic usually follows our AGM in April's Society meeting. The idea is to take a close up or candid view of an object, which will then be revealed. To achieve this online, submitted images will be displayed here for a week from 1st April 2020, and the 'reveal' will appear a week later alongside the original image. Members may submit up to 3 images each.
So start guessing.....
